Live Online Bible Study: Spirituality of the Cross
Pastor Dale Critchley and Shepherd of the Ridge Lutheran Church once again break the Lutheran "we've never done that before" stereotype by offering a study that promises to be practical to your daily life, engaging, and interactive.
Beginning Sunday, April 18, 2010, we will be reading and discussing The Spirituality of the Cross by Gene Edward Veith during our 9 A.M. Bible Class. What's so different about this? Besides the class participants present for the study here at Shepherd of the Ridge, anyone on the planet is invited to participate live! We will have a webcam focused on Pastor Dale with the opportunity join in the discussion via text chat. The chat discussion will integrate with Facebook and Twitter, so participants can choose their method of discussion.
Note: Due to network problems, we had to disable the streaming of this class for a while. However, we posted the audio from the discussions from those classes below.
How can you participate?
If you can be at Shepherd of the Ridge Lutheran Church, just meet us in the sanctuary. If you can't be here, at 9 A.M. EST on Sunday, April 18, come back to this page, where you'll find a live video feed and chat box. Listen to the reading and discussion, and use the supplied discussion areas to join in the conversation, ask questions, and offer your insights.
If you don't have the book, you can purchase it or just listen as we read. You can also download the entire study to follow along with the questions.
While you're at it, use the Sharing buttons below to pass this on to friends.
